Can You Dig It?

Greetings Blogsters.

I hope all is as it should be where you are.

My George Carlin calendar had this to say last weekend, March 4th and 5th:

"Sometimes when you're burying a guy alive, for a moment or two you start feeling sorry for him. And then it passes, and you keep shoveling."

This idea reminds me of that movie "Shallow Grave" ...A pretty good film, overall...Which serves to remind us that the best way for three people to keep a secret is if two are dead...(If you were planning on seeing it and feel that I've maybe ruined it for you...well, I haven't...and it came out in 1994!)...

That's about all I have to say about that.

Side Note:

As I was typing this, Jon Stewart just ran a clip that wasn't used at the Oscars...it was anti-King Kong and about how simian actors could potentially be replaced by CG (Computer-Generated) characters...The montage was allegedly paid for by PAAM (People Afraid of Angry Monkeys) ...He went on to mention the potential of a monkey uprising.

What do you think of that?

Take care out there!

Your Pal,

Zambo.

P.S.

If you're bored, try this maze. See if you can identify the song at the end...It's sorta low so maybe turn up the volume...if you're interested.

Hey Zam. That albino gorilla above was the inspiration for the White Gorilla mascot and shot at that shot bar I mentioned.

The look on that handsome fellow's face cracks me up!

Heh,as if anything but simian actors could do that job well..whatever. Let them talk
Their day will come..there will be a reckoning!

Haaa,I love humour like that!
I heart George:)

This reminds me of when we lived in Maple Ridge,2 houses away from 2 Hell's Angels' owned businesses.

They 'befriended' my 11 year old son,and every once in awhile when he wanted an ass whoopin' he'd stop into one of their stores to chat.
I totally discouraged this of course, but you know what strong willed kids are like.
ANYways, They'd give him stuff which I later found in his room while cleaning/snooping.
Usually it was a bike magazine or stickers but the thing I found that made me laugh and cringe all at the same time was a business card for their clothing store that read
"Three can keep a secret if two are dead"
Can you imagine?? It was funny because HELLO?? Who in their right fucking mind actually prints that on a card when they are 'trying' to hide behind a 'legitimate' clothing business? I know how they try to skew their public image but I think the guys that ran that place missed out on a PR day, heh.
But yes it made me cringe because we all know what their story is.
I started an intensive unit study on gangs(I love homeschooling)with my kid and he got smart and got off that trip right quick! thank goodness!
I'm off to try the maze, chow for now!

Thanks for the comments, folks!

I've been lax in my Blog action this week. I'll have to catch up on everybody's recent posts and post some new stuff myself...

Nicki,
You're funny! My word verification should be "Grrrrrr" from now on...

S*,
That bar seems like a lot of fun! Do you unleash any "sick isolations and wicked gyrations" on the tabltops there? It's 923 Eight Avenue, right?
Sorry about the maze...

Sorry, Poody...

You too, Tai. Sorry about "BOOKWORM", but this one takes less time.

Beading Gal,
It's an oldie but a goodie...I got it again in an e-mail the other day and knew what it was, but it still made me jump a little...

Hi Ms. L.
Bikers aren't really so bad as long as you don't do business with them...and cross them...I'm glad Dev knows more about them now though. Hope you enjoyed the maze!

Mel,
The plot summary for "Conquest of the Planet of the Apes" is:

"Cornelius and Zira's son Caesar leads apes to revolution in this installment of the apes saga. Dogs and cats have been wiped out by a plague and now apes are household pets that are treated like slaves. Caesar has the intelligence to fight this oppression."

Spidey,
Sorry the maze got you...Maybe your Secret Pal could send you a George Carlin calendar or something Carlin oriented?...I like the new profile pic!

Keeks,
It lacks something without the sound...

Welcome, Leila. I hope all is well way over there!

Keep trying, Sherry!...

Anyway, I'll be back soon.

Take care out there and have a great weekend!

Your Pal,

Zambo.
