Tagged Again

Hello Again.

I've been tagged by my new pal SPIDER WALK to list three things you don't know about me...This might be trickier than it seems (because usually the things most people don't know about me are the things I don't want most people to know about me)...

Also SPIDER WALK, I haven’t really done any of the things on Stern’s revelation list…A tomato’s a fruit right? Yeah…No…

This was my “safe list”, as most of the things that first came to mind were sexual in nature and there were other things I’m not ready to put out there yet…Plus, my lawyer’s out of town, so I can’t consult with him on a few things…

  1. I’m left-handed, but fairly ambidextrous;
  2. I often gag when I brush my teeth…Major gag reflex. (Doctors usually think I’m exaggerating…until they try to put that tongue depressor thing in my mouth);
  3. My dad and I once saved a guy from drowning while we were on vacation in Florida. The guy didn’t know how to swim and he had ventured out too far, then panicked. We didn’t make a big deal out of it. All in a day’s work.

I gotta admit that I sorta took the easy way out of that one…I wrote out several things, then when I re-read them, I didn’t think it was such a good idea to post them…

Who should I tag?…

How about...

Keeks

S*

Gobbles

You’d better do it, you punks!
(Just kidding. But seriously…Do it).

Ms. L, I’d tag you too, but somebody got to you first…

I think that’s it for today. I’m spent.

Take care out there.

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Hey Keeks and Nicki.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sounds like we're all having a tough day...My work day is over now, so I feel a lot better...I got rocked pretty hard today...but it's over now.

Keeks,

You had some great revelations there! I can't believe you had nine!

Nicki,

I did a little experiment writing with my "wrong" hand earlier today...and as it turns out, with a bit of practice, my penmanship would trounce most senior citizens'...and about 90% of severe head trauma victims'...
P.S.
I noticed that you're into birds...If you click on my blog's November button, the first entry features pix from a day at "Birds of the Lost Kingdom" in Niagara Falls...if you're interested...

That's about it for now...

Take care out there.

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Hi Gang.

I figured out that if I leave the SIRIUS radio on in the car and tune my radio to the appropriate station in the house, I can listen to it without having to dismantle everything!

I'm just listening to the re-broadcast of today's Stern show to hear the awesome Arnold Schwarzenegger phony phone call, where he promised George Takei that he'd sign a same-sex marriage bill for California...in exchange for a back rub and a reach-around...He then went on to say that he was "fucked up on drugs" because of a recent car accident...Takei took offense to some of the stuff the fake governor said about Asians and homosexuals...Then it came up that Takei had spent some time in an internment camp during WWII...The fake Schwarzenegger, not missing a beat, replied with, "Shit happens!"...then..."Listen, I'm Austrian. I don't give a shit"...Despite what he was saying, some listeners and Mr. Takei still believed it was really him for a few hours...Takei thought that he had a verbal guarantee of furtherment of gay rights...Stern couldn't, in good conscience, string him along any longer...and told Takei that the Schwarzenegger caller was a fake...after about two hours... (Yesterday, they played a clip of Takei being duped by a fake call from Ricardo Montalban...the caller sounded nothing like him though and Takei still was fooled for a while)...

Anyway, the "People's Choice Awards" are on...Green Day won something and Jennifer Garner won something...I'm not sure if these awards actually mean anything, but it was nice to see them win...Lasagna's watching it in the other room and lets me know when something interesting happens...

I guess that's it for the moment...I suppose this comment could have been a post...Oh well...

Oh! I almost forgot Stern's line of the day referring to "Dancing with the Stars":

"Tatum O'Neal is about as fucked up as a human being can be...

Take care out there...

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Stern is just talking about Canada's SIRIUS satellite situation...A guy in Montréal is starting a petition.

Apparently, one could get arrested for owning the US satellite...theoretically...I guess I'm an outlaw...

There are grey markets out there though...

Apparently the reason for the ban in Canada is mostly political ($$$)...Having Stern here would cut into terrestrial radio advertising revenue...the objectionable content is secondary...

I'd better get going...

Later.

Your Pal,

Zambo.

P.S.
I've been getting up at 5:30 am all week...I don't know how much longer I can maintain this schedule...(But it's worth it)...

Hi Zambo,
Your answers reminded me of something. I was born a left too. When my parents enrolled me in a Catholic school the Nuns got hysterical about my left handedness and told me it was a sign of the DEVIL! I was forced to write right handed for 6 years. Actually, I still write with my right hand, but can still manage ok with my left too.

Thank you for taking on the tag...ur adorable :)

Hi.

"Damn, it Feels Good to be a Gangsta"...
(If you've seen "Office Space"...you'll know I mean that in a totally non-gangster way)...

I find it funny that people will notice that I'm a lefty and feel compelled to comment on it...Some people will even keep noticing (as if for the first time) that I'm left-handed when they see me write something...They'll be like, "You're left-handed?" or "A south paw, huh?" or "I didn't know you were left-handed"...But they'll forget, I guess and say the same thing the next time they see me write...It's like "Groundhog Day" but you can't punch that annoying guy in the face...

I think that's all for now.

Maybe I'll do a fresh post when I get home...I think there's a new episode of "Lost" on tonight...They'd better do something good after making us wait so long...

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Hey Zam. I'm beginning to depend on your for my Stern fix. *sigh*

So you tagged me and I've been thinking what people don't know about me and I can't think of anything. Most of the things I would list, people in the "real world" don't know, but those who read my blog do, such as:

1. I listen(ed) to Howard Stern dedicatedly for nearly 10 years.
2. I LOVE Martha Stewart.
3. I had a pierced tongue and have a tattoo.
4. I was an Ivy League cheerleader.

Sorry to disappoint. Work has been crazy and it's sapped my creativity. Not to mention that my roommate is a psycho and I have to move AGAIN.

I don't know how this "tag" thing works. Do I confess on your blog, or on mine? I'll do it on mine, I reckon...

By the way, the random letter confirmation code you have to type in was "spuxdi" today... that's kind of a cool word, don't you think?
