Three More Days Of Stern...

Hello there.

I hope that all is well.

They've been going over favourite Stern show moments for the past few weeks. It's like a "Best of" show with commentary.

This morning a woman called in to mention that she was going to have to get rid of her Dave Matthews tickets in order to attend Friday's festivities for Stern's final show. I guess Dave Matthews plays Boston on Thursday night and this woman's husband doesn't want to do both events back-to-back...just Stern's final show in New York. Then our good friend Artie Lange chimed in with the line that made my day...(until I got to my desk)...

"That's a tough decision for a dude: To go to something that's gay or to go to something that's cool."

Anyway, check out Stern on "The Daily Show" tonight!

Take care.

Your Pal,

Zambo.

LOL,too funny!

Did you get your radio hooked up?
I'd be stressed too...
Glad you made it across without any problems!
When we tryed to renew ours,it sent us directly to the Canadian edition!
We dialed the same numer we used from 'before' but the switchboard(I'm guessing here) sent us to the Canadian version and now, unless we drive to fricking Alaska will have to make do with it.GRRRRRR.

I loved Johnny Cash on the Simpsons too,his voice was perfect:)

I've been listening everyday and I don't know what time Howard's actually going to be out there on the street. Have you heard? I do have to work, but I'm contemplating running out! Hey! Maybe the NYC transit strike will happen and the office will be closed!

Hi S*.

I think he said that when the show ends, he'll walk over to the new place...
Yahoo! will cover the walk, but no specific time has been mentioned that I know of...Last Friday, the show went 'til 11am...
I don't know if they'll cut it short to include the travel time (which might not make for great radio) and maybe some speeches...

I'm of the opinion that taking Friday morning off wouldn't be so bad...

I hope that you get to go. I would think that some folks will probably camp out and that it will probably cause some traffic issues...I'm not sure of your exact travel time from Brooklyn to Manhattan...but I would account for delays (unless you work closer to the action)...You may end up being late for work anyway...

There's a part of me that would like to go, but there's a part of me that is content with just viewing it from afar...

Good luck, S*.

Zambo.

Hi Ms. L.

No, I haven't activated it yet...I'm all nervous and fear that something will go wrong...

It's just so complicated...I'm so frustrated...

I just don't know if I can keep driving 1 hour to work in the morning without Stern and his crew...(Sure, I'd manage...I guess...)

It would seem that the best way to "cheat the system" would be to get a resident of the US to purchase the radio, activate it, then bring it to the deprived north for a hefty commission I'd imagine.

How many people do you know who steal satellite TV signals already?

What a mess...My chest hurts...

Gotta go now...

We'll talk soon.

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Well, I work in Manhattan anyway, and if he's done around 11, I could just take my lunch hour early! Zambo you are bringing me over to the dark side!

I'M MISSING HOWARD'S SEND OFF. I tried calling yesterday but couldn't get through. I wanted him to know that the black female 20-something demographic does exist as far as his show goes. And it's mild and clear out. In the 50s! Perfect weather.

Ho Hum.

Hi S*.

I'm watching the coverage on Yahoo! right now...It's a bit choppy, but good overall.

I think it'll be on for a while at The Hard Rock...Howard's being interviewed a lot as he makes his way over...

Your Pal,

Zambo.
