Do the chickens have large talons?

Hey kids.

We went to an aviary yesterday. It's called "Birds of the Lost Kingdom." It was pretty cool. (Much cooler than I thought it would be). The first section contains smaller caged birds...then there's the nocturnal creatures (no flash photography)...and finally there's an open space with a waterfall, where the birds fly all around you. Below are some pix of the birdies:

The waterfall (from behind)...

This little fella is called a Hunting Cissa from South East Asia...

This guy looks pre-historic...

On the way home, after Boston Pizza, I managed to get an ape involved in this post...

Talk to you later.

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Deleted my other comment...commented on the wrong post. Anyway...

I was celebrating Thanksgiving with HH and her family and I saw something and said OMG, I have to get that for Zambo! Unless, you already have one...which most likely you do. Here's a link:

Amazing Alize Chimp

You can get a second one for $50 off, so you can get one for Lasagna too! And he won't bite off your nuts!

Hello Ladies!

Thanks for dropping by.

I'm glad you had fun at the party, Ms. L. If you're ever in the Niagara Falls area, I think the kids (and adults) would enjoy the birds.

Hey S*.

I hope that Thanksgiving was fun.

Thanks's for the tip! I don't have one...yet...

I was gonna ask Santa for the Cuddle Chimp, but now that I've seen the "Amazing Alive Chimp", it's time for an upgrade. I've been good...mostly.
That video is truly unsettling...but awesome!

Imagine if Oprah was handing those out to her audience.

I'd better be on my way now...

Take care.

We'll talk again soon.

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Oooops. I meant ALIVE chimp. I don't think he comes with Alize cognac. Might have been a neat bonus gift, though.

Hi Again S*.

I knew what you meant...

It seems that maybe some folks aren't into birds...I thought they were pretty interesting...and I'm not really all that into birds...I guess you had to be there...dodging guano...

Maybe my next post will be a bit more spicy...We'll see.

Your Pal,

Zambo.

Spicy, huh? I dunno, something about birds seem to freak many people out. I love the pretty colors and stuff but I ain't touching one.

Was a little disturbed about how you would build a body for the Amazing "Alize" Chimp. OK...I was a lot disturbed LOL.

Sorry about that...

I think it's better than a severed chimp bust sitting on a table though...Plus, it'll be cooler when he starts moving if he has a full body...to freak out visitors. I already have mannequins and all sorts of other "unusual" stuff in my TV room. So I thought I'd give him a torso and legs...to fit in...Is that so wrong?

Your Pal,

Zambo.
